The Book of Questions

A friend of mine gave me a book called " The book of Questions" for my birthday. He really is a genius of questions and getting to know people on a deeper level. (For all I know he had this book the whole time!) That's exactly what this book does. It has 200 questions and follow-up questions that make people evaluate their opinions and values and gets beyond the "what's your favorite color?" questions. There is no right or wrong answer (with the exception of some that can be backed up with scriptures of course!) Some are just fun and others are serious. They are quite useful whenever there's down time at a social gathering, on a date with someone you don't know too well, or to better understand people you already know. It kept us busy and inspired great conversations on our long drive between Mexico and Salt Lake! So I thought it might be fun to put one on my blog every now-and-again and see what everyone's responses are. Sometimes the answers are not ones you want everyone to know, but otherwise, feel free to comment with your thoughts!

Question 123:
When you do something ridiculous, how much does it bother you to have other people notice it and laugh at you?

It depends on what I was doing. If I was really trying to do something good that meant a lot to me, I would feel a little embarrassed and may want to leave the situation, and then I'd for sure laugh about it later. But on the other hand if it's just something random I did, I think I'd just laugh it off with everyone else.

It depends on whether I intended to be ridiculous or not. If I meant to be, then, sure -- it's nice to know that I was able to make someone laugh. If I didn't meant to be, well, then, yes, I'd be bothered because my first reaction in situations like that is to shrug it off and pretend it didn't happen.

This question thing is kinda fun... can't wait for more! :)

I am trying to get better at laughing at myself. (You would think at my age and all the goofy things I have done that I would already have that down, but.....) I know that it only makes the situation more obvious if you don't laugh!
Keep the questions coming,dearie!

If I got upset everytime I did something ridiculous, I would never be able to laeve my room. I try to be the first to laugh at myself. I usually do or say dumb things because I have so much on my mind when I'm doing things. If I can catch it and make a joke myself, I feel so much better than if someone else notices it first and laughs at me.

I believe leave is spelled l-e-a-v-e, not l-a-e-v-e.

Speaking of doing ridiculous things, try being an English teacher posting a web comment and spelling something wrong. (I blame my poor tying skills)
